I’m a part of a Let’s Start Talking project because I want to share Jesus and share myself with people who might not know Him. Let’s Start Talking has been recruiting, training, and sending workers around the world for over 35 years. Each year thousands of people desiring to improve their English register to read stories from Luke, which often leads to life-changing conversations with an LST Worker. This year I get to be one of those Workers!

The LST Pathways program equips Christians to share their faith and lives in mission settings around the world. While aimed primarily at graduating university students, Pathways is open to anyone desiring to serve on site for a year.

Pathways meets the need of mission churches for specialized assistance as well as the desire of Christians to conduct meaningful service abroad. Many mission churches have good local leadership but would benefit greatly from the specialized help of a mature North American Christian. Likewise, many Christians in North America are eager for a service opportunity more robust than a traditional short-term project but without the multi-year commitment of what traditional mission work has required. Pathways provides that unique opportunity many are seeking; to spend up to a year doing significant work at an international site.

Let’s Start Talking (LST) is a U.S. tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization and has exclusive legal control over contributions. Consistent with its status as a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization Let’s Start Talking does not refund donations. Consistent with IRS guidelines, LST affirms that no goods or services were provided in return for contributions.
